ICC Command Center

IoT Command Center

Ayla's IoT Command Center (also referred to as ICC or the Command Center) enables customers to orchestrate changes across their fleet of devices seamlessly and efficiently, while still providing the visibility, scalability, and flexibility required for enterprise grade customers. The primary benefits are:

  • Saves time for customers by managing large device deployments.
  • No coding required to command and control large device deployments, while still enabling customers to get status on progress and completion.
  • Enables large scale changes to devices, while reducing the risk that these changes may cause failures or unintended effects.

The Command Center provides an easy-to-use workflow to configure simple to complex updates for distribution to a specific group of devices. To access the ICC features, click Command Center in the navigation panel on the Ayla Customer Dashboard, as shown below:

Notice that there are four tabs on this page (shown below).

These tabs are used to configure, manage, change, and stop updates to target devices. Click the hyper-linked name of the tab below for details on how to use it:

  • Jobs - When you navigate to the Command Center, this tab displays by default and is first because it is used to get started. From this tab, you create ICC jobs (also called Device Jobs on the dashboard), which include, for example:
  • Setting one or more property values for multiple devices
  • Downloading one or more files to multiple devices using file properties
  • Upgrading the firmware image of the host application (including upgrades to the Ayla Integrated Agent and Ayla Linux Agent.
  • Upgrading the firmware image on the Ayla Production Agent and module.
  • Device Filters - This tab provides the ability to create a group of devices based on certain criteria. The group can then be the target of an ICC job.
  • Files - This tab is used to upload, manage, and search for files that are used in ICC jobs.
  • Host OTA Images - This tab is used to upload new firmware images for upgrades to the host application of single- or multi-image devices.
